Review: Tall, Dark... Westmoreland!

Tall, Dark... Westmoreland! Tall, Dark... Westmoreland! by Brenda Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story made me think of a Cinderella fairytale; the lost earring and the woman he must find that they belong to. Reggie Westmoreland and Olivia Jeffries meet at a masquerade fundraiser ball, which lead to a one-night affair. Still not knowing each other because they kept their identity concealed. However, they eventually find out at a political campaign where Reggie and Olivia’s father are running against each other for Senate. This story was a quick and to the point love story. Reggie says, “love at first sight”, I call it lust at first…., all I can say is Reggie was whipped. When he said, “we are in a relationship”, I was like what relationship? Even Olivia said it. After one night this man has claimed his woman. It was a good read and interesting. A few twists and turns that did not take away from their love story. This book is one of those stories you read when you just want to read something quick, smooth, and seductive. I think that it could have been more to this story, none the less, I enjoyed this book. I give it a 4 out of 5-star rating.

My choice of characters:
• Alvester Martin as Reginald Westmoreland
• Jordyn Woods as Olivia Jeffries
